Free Ged Test

Q. Anyone can please send me information about what to study for the GED.

A. The GED test is comprised of 5 tests. Test 1 is Writing which is presented in two parts. The first part is a multiple choice test where you will be asked to correct errors in punctuation, grammar, spelling, and combining sentences. Make sure you are familiar with subject/verb agreement as well as the others mentioned. The writing is a 45 minute test where you are expected to write on a prompt given. This is usually some kind of opinion. It is scored based on your ability to answer the question asked, writing in the form of an essay, siting examples to back up your general statements, as well as a sense of organization. You should know how to write a 3 by 5 essay. Test 2, 3, and 4 are Science, Social Studies and Interpreting Literature and the Arts. These are multiple choice questions where you will be given a passage to read and answer questions about. Be sure you practice reading and understanding maps and graphs as well as practice reading passages and interpreting what is said. Test 5 is a mathematics test which is also multiple choice. This test is 50% basic mathematics including fractions, decimals, measurement, percents -- 30% algebra (basic concepts)-- and 20% geometry (there is a page of formulas given, but you need to know which formula to use and where). All of the questions here are in the form of word problems. You can check out free test in this site to be well prepared www.4test.com
